Today..I think of you and nothing else

Today,

I lie on my bed, looking at your picture in my laptop,

I think of the day when I first met you on that blind date.

I think of that evening, when I thought he is not the one for me.

I think of that café where I suddenly decided I am in love with you.

I think of all the airports, railway stations and bus stands where we’d always meet every 4 months.

I also think of that beautiful afternoon when you left everything to come and stay with me in my city.

Today,

while looking at the ring you slipped on my fingers,

I also think of that Valentine, when you proposed to me in front of everyone with music and wine;

I think of those beaches, hill stations and jungles where we spent the most beautiful vacations.

I think of those love letters that you wrote to me even when we were in the same city.

And today,

while reading all the ‘beautiful notes’ that you write to me everyday,

sitting in a country miles away from me,

I think of that ‘moment’ when you packed your bags, kissed goodbye to me and didn’t tell me when are you coming back!
